As a US Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in our solution-oriented approach by providing accurate payrolls while ensuring compliance and confidentiality. We are seeking dedicated individuals with a strong background in processing US Payroll and who are committed to delivering exceptional results and contributing to our clients' success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for US-based employees
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness
- Calculate and process taxes, including federal and state withholding, FICA, and Medicare
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to payroll and employment taxes
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Manage and reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare reports as needed
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in US payroll processing, including knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting and tax principles
- Experience with ADP software or similar payroll processing tools (Paylocity, Paycore, and the like)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
